Cracked Racquets and ITA Extend Partnership
This season, Cracked Racquets will bring fans coverage of the ITA All-American Championships, ITA Fall National Championships, and the ITA DI National Indoor Championships
TEMPE, AZ – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is excited to announce a three-year agreement with the tennis media company Cracked Racquets, which will enable fans to continue enjoying the top championships in college tennis across their various digital platforms.
Partnering on numerous championships since 2020, Cracked Racquets and the ITA have provided fans with the best college tennis viewing experience possible, showing growth in production quality and viewership year-over-year.
“The ITA and Cracked Racquets share a commitment to elevating the status of college tennis in the world of college athletics and within the wider tennis ecosystem,” said ITA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Timothy Russell. “By streaming ITA championships on a consistent and growing channel in exciting ways with knowledgeable and passionate broadcasters together we are sharing the thrill of our sport with current fans while also turning tennis fans into college tennis fans and college sports fans into college tennis fans.”
In 2022-23, Cracked Racquets provided coverage of the ITA Men’s and Women’s All-American Championships, ITA Fall National Championships, ITA Kickoff Weekend, and the ITA Men’s and Women’s Division I National Team Indoor Championships.
During these broadcasts, fans experienced the most exciting moments that college tennis has to offer. Across all events on the Cracked Racquets platform, more than 100,000 viewers watched ITA events last season, which was more than a 100% increase in viewership from the previous year.
For Cracked Racquets founder and CEO, Dalton Thieneman, the partnership represents a renewed commitment to expanding the coverage of college tennis. “Alex Gruskin, Daniel Westhoff, and our entire team are beyond excited for the opportunity to continue working with Tim Russell and the ITA. We look forward to helping move the college tennis needle forward for many years to come,” said Thieneman. “We cannot wait to share this enhanced version of our popular CrossCourt Cast coverage with the broader college tennis community.”
